Why no new scripts support the XBMC SVN build's new addon platform?
#1
Like some of you brave folks, I prefer to stay on the bleeding edge with SVN builds from http://sshcs.com/xbmc/, downloaded and tested daily. But I am at a loss when it comes to addons, and it seems aside from few culpits such as Subtitles and RecentlyPlayed. Are there any plans to start releasing XBMC SVN Build addons any time soon? With a stable release coming soon, addon developers should be ready for it, so do users.

Once ready a news on xbmc.org will tell you about it.
Always read the online manual (wiki), FAQ (wiki) and search the forum before posting.
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules (wiki).
Please read the pages on troubleshooting (wiki) and bug reporting (wiki) before reporting issues.

As vdrfan suggests, as soon as the interface is tidied up (there's lose ends and polish to come) we'll release the details for addon developers and they'll start coming in.

Cheers,
Jonathan
