why do you want do set it with DB value?! work only with 0-100 (like percent) without any specification... couse its easier and the DB value says nothing about the volume...

don't know if percent is possible. think it comes automatic with db level.

As a math guy I have a problem with the dB as well, with the way it is set up you are saying the volume is 100% 10% 1% .1% .01% .001% .0001% of the max volume, and I would doubt that it drops like that I think it is more like 100% 83% 67% 50% 33% 17% 0% or 100% 86% 72% 58% 44% 30% 14% or if you like dB -0 -1 -2 -3 -4 -5 -6 because -3db is half

ok I have been reading more about sound dB which is way different than the Power dB as I was taught. It appears with sound 10 dB is equal to double (or halved in the negative case) which makes the % 100 50 25 12.5 6.3 3.1 1.6
