Hi there Ronie,

I was looking at the (funny) FAQ to see if I could make my own skin or mod yours somehow, and the link http://code.google.com/p/transparency-xbmc/ does not have a link to all those textures.

BTW is it possible to also change the buttons in settings and default "no-fanart" graphics?

Tx
Mark.

they're all there, you'll just need a svn client to download the images.

sure, just modify all the Button_Side_*.png images

fredphoesh Wrote:and default "no-fanart" graphics?

like hide fanart completely?

Here I am again with another (probably) dumb question, LOL.

I've read the FAQ's for this skin and cant seem to find the directory that shows me what the various icons mean. For example, when I pull up a specific movies information, I see a the director, runtime, cast, plot, etc. Theres also a list of icons that stand for various info, like rated: PG. How can I find out what some of these icons stand forHuh

on the home screen you can hit the power icon on the top-right

why not?
press 'left' or 'right' and you should be there.

(or "up' / 'down' if you use the horizontal menu)

you can basically put them anywhere you want.

in the skin enable:
Skin Settings > General > Videos - Use genre backgrounds
and select the path where you extracted the fanart pack:
Skin Settings > General > - Path:

ah, ok, i probably misunderstood.

are you trying to add genre icons or fanart?

in case you want to add icons for missing genres,
create the folder skin.transparency/media/foldericons/genre/videos
and put them in there.
