The wiki lacks the info I need for this particular problem. I know about VideoLibrary.ScanForContent, however, that scans the entire library for changes.

I want to know if there is a parameter that I can send that tells it to only scan a particular directory, or is this functionality not yet implemented? If it's not implemented yet in the JSON, what's the command to send via the old HTTP API?

Not sure about json yet, don't really plan on looking at it until its more complete. The httpapi will still be included in dharma.

Using httpapi you can send updatelibrary and pass it a path, i.e UpdateLibrary(database,[path]) - check the wiki
