I just tried using LiLi but each time I create the drive it tells me that the file is corrupted. The below is the log...

well then, maybe the iso you downloaded really is corrupted. try to download again.

I had been using the "automatic downloader" but this time I used the live disk I'd created a few days ago and it worked no worries. Cheers Hannes.

I found out that my old school pentium 3 from 10-15 years ago will boot from a USB key when my 5 year old Core2duo will not. Ridiculous.

please help me out ... each time I build a live USB stick (either with LiLi or unetbootin) I have the same problem. The Stick does not start XBMC live but the linux install script!! and with LiLi the old XBMC installation comes up or "grub>" What is wrong here? any suggestions? sorry if this post is maybe in the wrong thread but this one seemed for be as the most appropriate. and I am already slightly desperate ...
