Hi, I have used XBMC on Windows for a long time, but I am new to using XBMC Live, and a Linux noob.
I am using the 10.0 LiveCD (on USB), on a system with an ATI Radeon HD5750, and a quad core processor.
When I boot, the animating progress indicators look corrupted.
After a while the UI does show fine.
When I play HD content, playback is ok, but OSD shows high CPU utilization, 25% on all four cores, and no playback hardware acceleration.
If I boot the same USB key on a machine with an Intel on-board adapter (GMA 33), and a Core Duo processor.
Boot progress animation works fine, hardware acceleration works fine, and CPU utilization is less than 5%.
Is there anything special I have to do to get Live CD 10.0 working with an ATI HD5750?
