Ok, I think I've found why its not work for some people.
For those that are having problems, try installing it to C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\addons instead of AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons and see if that helps.

I tried also the d3dx9_42.dll but it didn't help.
Maybe this information is useful that i didn't see the "debug console" from the Vortex addon either, though it was activated. The screen remains black

Tried moving it over, and it wouldn't show up in Add-ons?

New version:Vortex-1.0.1
Fixed: Black screen if installed to AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons Fixed: Failed to start due to missing DirectX files Fixed: Voiceprint would sometimes show random texture data Added: 3d Text announcements of song name. To enable this feature you must add <allowd3d9ex>false</allowd3d9ex> to the advancedsettings.xml. Please note, setting allowd3dex to false may impact the stability of XBMC. Announcements are off by default so you also have to turn them on in the Vortex settings. Example of 3d text announcement (looks better when its moving )

I really like this plugin.
![]() Feature requests: 1. in the next version, could you have it so that it is a constant preset.. (Time Between Presets = 0 / Off ? ) So if you choose the Singing Skull he sticks around for the whole playlist ![]() 2. One Preset per song - once a new song starts, a new preset starts Thanks for your efforts! |
