I am currently sharing my music files from another machine to my HTPC using SMB. The SMB shared music files play fine.

However, when I attempt to share them by mapping a networked drive XBMC keeps skipping from one song to th next. Any ideas what this is so?

I'd like to share my music via a networked drive as it incorporates better into the Collect3 XBMC remote app.

I am using WIndows 7 and the latest version of XBMC. I am playing them on an Acer Revo 3600.

Can you grab a debug log while trying to play one of those files? Make sure to post which file it was...
