Someone just gave me a core duo t2300, ram and a hdd. Could I build something with these that would be capable of netflix, hulu and playing my small (50 ish) dvd iso collection. Would the performance be acceptable or is it not worth it. Please forgive my ignorance.

If these parts are capable could someone suggest the remaining necessary components, mobo, etc...

That's really not that old.

Hulu and netflix might be out of the question (flash), but DVDs should be just fine. Get a GT220/430 and you can do 1080p.
