This thread is full of awesome. Thanks guys for sharing the graphics. I'll also be on the lookout for pre-race text for each event and will post anything I find...

You guys really rock!!
I love F1 and those backgrounds are absolutely perfect for my 'racing' personality. Still, my preferences fall on MotoGP. Can you guys adapt the work to MotoGP? h.udo |

If you can get your hands on MotoGP graphics it's easy enough to set up something similar. I've had to do the same for NHL games.
Back to the topic at hand, here are 2011 driver names and thumbs for use in NFO files... Code: <actor> |

are there any legal issues in the way of someone starting up, let's say, "TVsportsDB.com" in the ilk of IMDB and TVDB? if not.. why hasn't it been done, for this purpose? lol

I'm guessing because there is just not the same demand for this kind of data compared to either TV or Film, probably due to the fact that most sport is watched live.

Below is some of his work for the up coming Melbourne F1 race. http://whrl.pl/RcGEHB Here is some of last years pre race comments. he does it for every race. Great job. We need something like this for the WRC Rally series.

So can I make an .nfo for the 2011 season and drop all those actors/drivers into it?
Or do I need to make a .nfo for each race of the 2011 season and duplicate? Hoobie7 |

It would be awesome to have the 2011 drivers and a season preview at that level. I think you have to put them up at the show level (and maybe just change them each year) or copy them at each episode level. |
