For some reason every episode of the simpsons that I now try and play seems to crash xbmc (drops out to frontrow) with around 6 seconds left in the episode. It seems to only be the Simpsons episodes as all other TV shows that I have been watching seem to play OK to the end with no issues... all seems a bit strange!

I am not sure what is causing this, but is it starting to get quite annoying now!

Any ideas / help would be appreciated!

Stop scanning your library while playing videos.

From both your log files this seems to be about every 10 minutes... are you sure it's not update notification related?

Ok, but this happens when not scanning while playing the same episodes. Not sure what you are suggesting to fix? Or do I need to rebuild the library from scratch? I have tried removing the tv show and re-adding but still have the same issue...

Defo not updated related... Just watch 3 episodes back to back of a different show...

Trakt video plugin - I have tried disabling it and it didn't make a difference last night... I can upload new logs with it disabled if that helps?

Completely uninstalled the trakt plugin now - rerun the same test - still crashes.
