Smb Streaming

Ok i figured out how to do upnp streaming but apparently you cant scrape movies from upnp and it wont put it into the movies category. I was wondering how to set up a smb network, so that i can stream my movies from my house to my college. thx

Samba (SMB) is a protocol that is typically used over Local Area Networks (LANs), not over the internet.
BUT, that's why jesus magically made Virtual Private Networks (VPN). A VPN program can work in different ways, but generally speaking, they emulate a network adapter and makes your computer think a remote computer is actually on your LAN, and this will allow you to use SMB over the internet. |

If you expect this to stream video, you're going to need a damn fast connection at your house...
