Yes, dts 5.1 is thoroughly supported. Check you audio settings.

Hey kida88,
In 'Settings - System - Audio Output'.
If it's set to analog, then DTS will be decoded to pcm and outputted depending on what you have set the 'Speaker Configuration' setting to (number of channels... like 2.0 or 5.1).
If you have Optical or HDMI selected, and the 'DTS capable Receiver' option checked, then you will get passthrough (bitstreaming) of DTS to your av receiver.
