Anyone here running a windows HTPC on a plasma?

I am very close to buying an ASRock 3d as an upgrade from my Acer 3610. Question is though if I do I definitely want to run XBMC over windows on it as I know it can handle it. But seeing as I own a Plasma TV and static images are a big no go, what are your thoughts of running a windows device on a plasma tv?

Just don't leave it displaying the windows home screen for hours on end Eek

I use a plasma, and have done for years. It has no image retention or burn, or if it does, it is not noticable. Just play safe, set the HTPC to use a screen saver if idle, and turn the TV off if not in use. Simples.

I've just ordered a new one too, decided I deserved an upgrade so I could enjoy 1080p.

I bought this: http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/Pr...kInfo=true

Very nice, you can't go wrong with Panny Plasmas. I myself own a VT25.
