I find both of 2 source file that you modified are not from ffmpeg svn, is that right?

Taxigps,
Yes, they both not from ffmpeg, I just apply the related fix into the file in XBMC FFMPEG. Is not possible to apply the latest FFMPEG into XBMC since the files has changed so much.

I have tested your patch, it works well. and I meet an other bug about rmvb(http://www.xbmc.org/trac/ticket/7331). any idea about this?

Thanks,
taxigps

I can't explain how to build ffmpeg with patch in several word. and you may just try the dll file I have build with the patch.

under windows, just extract into c:\Program Files\XBMC\system\players\dvdplayer

and I don't know whether this dll works under aTV

Thanks for creating the Trac Ticket Harry!

Just wondering if there is any update on this issue?

Thanks !!! - Juanrra242 - 2009-11-01

Just thank you for the patch .It works ok until you press the pause/resume button ,the play frame rate drops again to 13fps.
But all I have to say is THANK YOU .I´m now able to play my rmvb files on XMBC ,but can´t go to the WC while watching them!!! Smile

XBMC build 24020 and transparency 2.0

problem with rmvb playback svn 24238 vs babylon - xbmcfan1 - 2009-11-07

Found the issue, its a difference in codecs between the t3ch builds and thejester builds, I'll contact the appropriate builders.

Try the T3CH Upgrader script (http://www.xbmczone.com/plugin_details.asp?id=126), it downloads both T3CH builds as well as SSHCS SVN nightly builds - the good thing about the script is that installs the new version in a separate folder (does not overwrite the old version) and copies over the UserData...

Does anyone know if the changes made it into the 9.11 alpha version, or do I still need to apply the patch posted by ecgoh?

- taxigps - 2009-11-19

fixed in svn at r24735, thanks ecgoh.

Thanks for the update. Just tested with the latest SVN. Video is playing very smooth. However it still suffers long pause doing fast forward & back though....

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to migrate my myth box over.

RMVB issue - Electric Flute - 2009-12-06

RMVB video files play at a low fps on all my computers, it seems to run choppy or laggy. All other file formats are just fine!

Strange that nobody mentioned this problem here so far!
Thanks in advance.
