of the skin --> addons-->skin-->aeon nox-->info-->rollback

EDIT: That would probably just restore the stored zip of 2.0.0 and not your personal copy.

Congratulations Phil and BN!

It's been quite fun following this through it's development watching it turn into what it has become. And being a small part of it tossing in the occasional bugs and suggestions.

Phil hopefully we don't see you disappear again, it's great having you around. (Still have Aeon65 installed, it's a classic) BN, you're just a machine when it comes to keeping NOX up to date through out it's life and it's so very much appreciated the time you put in. I still say having you two working together on it was a perfect match.

Aeon Nox 3.0 is truly a wonderful skin to use on a daily basis and really ups what you can expect a skin to do with XBMC.

Also, yay some of my screen shots made it to the launch page Big Grin

then this should be a good example for you that you should always backup customizations. nothing we can do in that aspect, updating will always overwrite all files.

Just a small tiny question for those of us that have been keeping Nox 3.0 up to date with GiT. Still going to be using that for future updates? Or, should we just switch it over to the version on repo?

Since I started using Nox it is always fun to wake up, update GiT and see what new things have been put in Smile
ArieS, it's good practice to backup any customized stuff you add to a skin whether it's code changes or media files. I and I'm sure many have learned that just as you have. It's frustrating when you get bit by it, but we learn and soldier on.

On the bright side, 3.0 has so many good things building off a very good 2.0. Hopefully you can some solace in the new features it brings to your media collection. Plus, half the fun is tinkering with our Media, skins and XBMC in general. Take what you've learned and use it to make what you had even better Smile

i´d go with the official version for now.
and don´t expect us to work with the same workload in the future..Wink
i have a bachelor thesis to write now, so time will be limited.

Oh I know, I remember you mentioning that after launch your time spent will be considerably less. I'll get my custom stuff backed up and start the switch over. Also, don't disappear for ages again! Big Grin But may you have great success on your thesis Smile
Heh, just fired up my modded Aeon65 that works with Eden. It's awesome to see how far it's come.

I've been playing around with the skin, and WOW! Absolutely love it, it has such a great finish and even all the little details are perfect. Much better then Aeon MQ3. Thank you everyone who made this happen!
