Little update for you guys..
Finally, my HTPC is up and running.
verdict was, altho my ssd always acted flimsy,
famous STANDALONE SP1 installer KILLED my master boot record...
i had no ways to recover it as i tried all possible tutorials online..
ive been on it for like 48 hours!!
What solved?
well, G Parted i used for doing a secure erase task on my SSD.
and because of that,
my BIOS was now detecting my SSD without loosing it,
hence, i followed by a crazy full windows 7 reinstall procedure...
Man, it took some time getting everything like i wanted, apps and stuff...
My SSD seems faster now, but i still wouldnt recommend Corsair Nova's at least...
I would play safe and use Patriot SSD's...
I was about to pull the trigger on one but being a stubborn dude,
i had to make it work without spending a dime!
So yeah, currently working for me,
but for how long,,,,
hmmm,,,,
tempting
