Well, he's got 4 spares coming so he should be good. It is a mystery though. Maybe it was weak/defective out of the box.

Well I did a little Google searching and this problem is not unheard of (albeit, with different motherboards). I think there is such thing as a "bad batch". Let's hope this was a one off fluke. If it does happen again, I'll go for the big shuriken.

I wish that my wife allow me to keep spares and stuffs that I removed from PC's. She's the boss around the house, and she don't like to see my junks anywhere inside the house and garage....
