Hi,

I just installed the latest version of the plugins from Unbehagen's site. His tutorial shows subdirectories in the AMT plugin and even show that you can add one of the subdirectories as a source. Problem is: I don't see any subdirs. Neither when adding a new source, nor when browsing the plugin. I see the trailers in the "Just added" category, but nothing else.
What am I ding wrong?

there are two amt plugins.

1. comes with the amt script and is installed from the script. this one has genre folders. you can get it with the svn repo installer, change repo to xbmc-scripting

2. is the AMT II plugin that only lists the most recent trailers. completely different source. you can get it with the svn repo installer using xbmc-addons repo

Now I'm a bit confused. I knew the old AMT script. (Which always took an eternity to update the trailers from the apple site) You start this one from the scripts directory.
And I know the new AMT II plugin. This one let's you add a videosource for the trailers and seems to have no sub-categories.
But on http://theendofthelongestline.de/xbox/ab.../index.php, in the second video, something is started from a video source (seen at 1:13) and shows categories (seen at 1:20). What is this? Can't be the AMT script as it is started from a video source and can't be the AMT II plugin as it has categories. :confused2:

To further add to my confusion, on http://theendofthelongestline.de/xbox/ab.../index.php it says:

Don't try to add it as a normal file by browsing your harddrive for the plugins folder. Instead, after choosing "Add source", select "{Video|Music} Plugins" and then the plugin you want to add as a source. You can even add subfolders. For example, if you want only the comedy section of Apple Movie Trailers to show up as a source, browse to that virtual "subfolder" of the Apple Movie Trailers Plugin.

Which speaks about categories (or subfolders) for the plugin.

Uh, wait: After Rere-reading your post: Are you saying here that the script, in it newest incarnation installs a plugin, which is different from the AMT II plugin, but nevertheless allows to add a source for the Apple trailers?

read #1 again. it is the amt plugin. it comes with the amt script. you install it from the scripts settings window.

Hi,

Since Atlantis (and even the Beta version before), it is not necessary to add a source for a plugin, it will be automatically recognized and imported in your plugin section under Video plugin for instance in case of video plugins.
If you do add source, off course you will see your plugin at the root level but also in this sub section.
