Movies from External HDD
#1
Hi. Im having trouble adding movies to the library from an External HDD. Movies on the internal hdd's are no problem adding, but when i try to add a folder of movies that are located on an external hdd, xbmc wont download any information for them. (if i move the movies to the internal hdd, theres no problem).

running windows vista sp1 x64 and latest xbmc.

That's a pretty crazy problem. Did you remember to "set content" for the external files folder?

Which SVN/stable version do you use?
What drive letter have you assigned your external HD?

well, iv kinda fixed it i guess. When i put the movies on the external hdd into a subfolder and added that folder to the library it worked fine. seems the problem is only there if the movies are located in the root of the external.. weird i guess, but if thats all i have to do to get it working, its ok for me Smile
