Just installed Built on Jun 1 2009 (SVN:20848, compiler 1310) as an app. The skin is all missing bits. Debug shows

I have checked and the file is missing on the xbox and in the distribution from t3ch so I guess I need a missing file. Should I just search an old distribution for a keyboardmap.xml. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

Is something not working? I've had that same string in my debug logs for a while now, but there isn't anything actually wrong with the controls. I'm still able to use the controller with all of its functions. Here's one of my debug logs from yesterday: http://pastebin.com/m6a2352e1.

I don't think that anything is actually broken for the xbox though. Are you having problems with the controls at all?

Yep,

Loads wrong with the skin. Missing scroll bars, background images and the button highlight.

Where are the screen shots stored? I will send some.

Sounds like something went wrong while upgrading. Make sure not to upgrade very old revisions.. do a clean install instead.

P.S.: Don't worry about the keyboardmap.xml info line. Its not an error, just a INFO.

Those log messages and the fact your skin isn't loading have nothing to do with each other.

Enable debugging and pastebin the FULL log if the reinstall doesn't work.

I will reinstall and see if there is an improvement however the installation has the same byte count as the downloaded XBMC folder.

Hi,

A clean install without overwriting your previous userdata folder works. Now I'm wondering how to reinstate my music data base and all the thumbnails(:-((

Well just overwrite the db file and thumbnail folders and it's all good. T3ch might want to know his read me needs modifying to warn that overwriting the userdata folder has issues now.
