what happen when i play 1080 movie on a 720p TV?

you probably mean 720p? - .. if you feed a 1080p signal into a TV that doesnt support it you will most likely have a blank screen.... if your playing a 1080p rip through XBMC it will scale the source down to the resolution you have set as far as I'm aware.

do you think that a scaled down 1080 image will look better than a 720 image on a 720 TV? |
