Also looking for a UK source, specifically to use with a Harmony 515.
Anyone know where to get one?

My receiver finally came last week. Took about 8 weeks from China. P/N 5187-4597.
Works great with my Xbox edition Harmony and Windows XP with some tweeking.
I added the device as MCE Keyboard. After it was setup I noticed some of the functions were pretty sluggish. Mainly video controls (play, rewind, etc). I ended up adding a second device as MCE Remote. I used MCE Remote for all video controls and MCE Keyboard for things like 'C' for Content Menu, bound F11 to XBMC shortcut, etc.

100% noob version for setting this up
Hardware: Harmony 700 remote, HP USB IR Receiver (OVU400103/00)
1. Set up lirc: head to command prompt, type sudo apt-get install lirc
2. Select Windows Media Center Transceivers/Remotes (all), then for IR transmitter, select none. restarts and plug in the IR receiver
3. To set up Harmony, select new device, then windows media PC, select Hewlett Packard and put the model number as OVU400103
This should get you nearly all the buttons you want. you can use your old tv remote to get mute and volume control from the tv instead of xbmc. I also switched up the skips to jump 10 minutes by putting them as up and down arrow keys.
I can't even think of what else I need to do, but I may think of something in the future.
Thanks to everyone who made this sooooo painless. I am still very new at xbmc but this was one of the easiest things I have ever gotten

I just got one for $1.99
From Good Will. I love it when the pricers have no clue what USB 'POS' they're holding on to.
Code:
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON `xbmc_%`.* TO 'xbmc'@'%';

I just searched for the HP Ir Receiver 5188 but got the impression that they are not available anymore.
Can anybody give me a hint where a get a 5188 (or any appropriate replacement) that can be shipped to Europe?

Just so people know the serial no. is only important if you using Linux. Any MCE receiver will do for Windows.
