Please let me know what do you think about that, Regards - spiff - 2011-05-10 maintaining such a granularity is a major pita and offers little extra. i'm against. - topfs2 - 2011-05-10 Also against, some grouping might be nice but its a bit too much there I think - castortray - 2011-05-10 in my post I just want to show how many different tools we have now, in one section. My proposal is not to move only mentioned posts to proposed subforums but all related posts to correct subforums. just look how many users create new posts with question for exmaple which xbmc managers they should use thanks for your opinion - castortray - 2011-05-10 can you check also statistic for XBMC Remote for Android Official Forum subforum ? I think most users do not even know that is exists - castortray - 2011-05-10 spiff Wrote:maintaining such a granularity is a major pita and offers little extra. i'm against. XBMC Media Managers XBMC Remotes XBMC Automation XBMC Web Interfaces this is really such a granularity ? it's just 4 new subforums - mothi - 2011-05-10 that would be great idea! even thread prefixes like in other subforums would really help to clarify these threads - bencorn - 2011-05-10 What if you just made this post a sticky, this helps separate everything for those who want it grouped and doesn't segment the main thread. - castortray - 2011-05-10 bencorn Wrote:What if you just made this post a sticky, this helps separate everything for those who want it grouped and doesn't segment the main thread. if this post will be "sticky", someone will have to constantly update it, so thats why I propose subforums, thank you for your comments, it's nice to have an outside opinion - spiff - 2011-05-10 4 extra ain't too bad, i read your list as one forum per tool. - castortray - 2011-05-10 spiff Wrote:4 extra ain't too bad, i read your list as one forum per tool. sorry for the confusion and good to hear it - topfs2 - 2011-05-10 lol, same, I thought you suggested 20+ subforums - castortray - 2011-05-10 topfs2 Wrote:lol, same, I thought you suggested 20+ subforums with 20+ subforums will be even harder than now cheers - stolek5 - 2011-05-10 wow gr8 idea !!! I even did not know that we have so many XBMC managers and remotes, thx + 1 for subforums - branlr - 2011-05-10 The forum titled "XBMC Automation" might not be a good idea, considering what those tools are used for automating... The renamer type tools could be categorized under the media manager category as well. Sickbeard and the like are awesome, awesome tools, but a section of the forum that is "how to do you know what, and would you like some help?"-- Not so sure. |
